The second annual Taste North Fork event – scheduled for Veteran’s Day Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, November 8th & 9th, 2014 – is going to be bigger than ever with over 40 participating wineries, restaurants, and more!
Last year’s Taste North Fork celebration was such a success that it continues this year, showcasing the very best that the North Fork has to offer with food and wine events, classes and demonstrations, and activities surrounding the rich and beautiful North Fork culture and traditions.
Once again held in Greenport Village, Taste North Fork 2014 is also scheduled to include special discounts and live music at the participating, local wineries, along with similar events and attractions by local businesses, fishermen, and farmers. One of the celebration’s best perks is the free “hop on-hop off” shuttle service that will be circulating throughout the North Fork during the event. This no-charge transportation service connects the region’s various hamlets and their many wineries, providing easy access from New York City and New England with links to the Long Island Rail Road and Cross Sound Ferry in New London, Connecticut.
