Come one, come all to Long Island’s North Fork for the return of Greenport Shellabration, scheduled for December 5th and 6th, 2015 and celebrating Peconic Bay’s shellfish health and harvest!
The annual Greenport Shellabration is a two day restaurant walk in Greenport Village, featuring fresh, Peconic Bay shellfish, both raw and as prepared by the very best North Fork restaurants and chefs – and paired with North Fork fine wines and craft beers! Yum!
All you have to do is purchase a Greenport Shellabration wristband, then hie yourself to Long Island’s Greenport Village on December 5th and 6th and get ready to eat, drink, and be merry!
Your first samples are on the house: a free glass of Greenport Harbor Ale and a raw bar tasting of Peconic Bay clams and oysters, which you can collect – along with your Greenport Shellabration tour map of participating venues – at either Greenport Harbor Brewing Company or Little Creek Oyster Company.
Thereafter, Greenport Shellabration is up to where your legs take you, with $5 small plates paired with $3 pours. Such a fun way to tour Greenport Village!
It gets better: your Greenport Shellabration wristband not only gets you some of the finest food and drink to be had on Long Island but also merchant deals!
Participating shops in Greenport Village will be offering either special discounts to Greenport Shellabration attendees or donating 10% of proceeds received during Greenport Shellabration to Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Back to the Bays Initiative.
