Enjoy a late summer day on the water, learning about the historic and beautiful lighthouses of Long Island on the Long Island Lighthouse Cruise.

Long Island Lighthouse Cruises

The Eco-Lighthouses Cruise, sponsored by the East End Seaport Museum, will take place on Saturday, August 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will be a unique guided tour exploring the relationship between light-keepers and their marine environment. During the cruise, you will see around seven lighthouses up close. Lunch will be provided during disembarkation at the “Bug Light,” where you will also tour the lighthouse.
These summer lighthouse cruises are a perfect opportunity to take panoramic photos of the Long Island shore and enjoy stunning views. The trip is narrated by Ted Webb, a local expert on maritime history and/or Bob Allen, the great grandson of the last lighthouse keeper of Bug Light. These two men will share the family stories and history as well as the legends and possible haunting of several of the lighthouses.
The excursion is $95, $85 for senior or military.

Other Lighthouse Cruises

The East End Seaport Museum sponsors several other cruising events throughout the summer and fall. Some of the other tours you can take include:
