Long Island Winterfest 2018 is weeks away, from February 22 through March 18. The mid-winter music, wine, and art festival brings big-name musical acts and special events to Long Island’s north and south forks. Local wineries, breweries, restaurants, artists, performers, and more all get in on the act. Don’t miss it!
Long Island Winterfest is an annual, multi-week music festival featuring the best jazz, blues, soul, rock, and country music east of NYC. More than just a music festival, Winterfest is also an opportunity to sample some of Long Island’s wine and food scene. Events will be held at various venues, including North Fork and South Fork vineyards, tasting rooms, craft breweries, and restaurants.

Highlights for Long Island Winterfest 2018
Winterfest Kick-off Party – February 23
The Long Island Winterfest 2018 Kick-Off Party will feature offerings from various Long Island wineries, craft breweries, and restaurants. Live music by Gail Storm and the East End Trio, raffle prizes, and more! 7 pm to 10 pm at the Hotel Indigo East End.
Randy Bachman – Every Song Tells a Story – February 23
Randy Bachman is a Canadian musician best known as lead guitarist, songwriter, and founding member of two classic rock bands: The Guess Who and Bachman–Turner Overdrive. Hear the sounds of the guitar-driven rock classics from someone who was there—8 pm at The Suffolk Theater.
VIP Winery Tour and Barrel Tasting – February 24
Come out to Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, NY, for a unique VIP Tour of the winery. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to sample wine straight from the barrel during a Barrel Tasting. Fascinating, educational, and delicious. 1 pm to 3 pm at Wolffer Estate Vineyard.
Ahmad Ali Trio – February 25,
Enjoy a FREE concert of American hip hop from top recording artist, songwriter, motivational speaker, and author Ahmad Ali Lewis. 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm at Clovis Point Vineyard.
Blue Oyster Cult March 2,
Come to Long Island Winterfest 2018 to see Long Island’s own Blue Öyster Cult. This classic American hard rock band formed here in 1967. Their hits include such favorites as “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” and “Burnin’ for You.” 8 pm at the Suffolk Theater.
Craft Cocktail Seminar and Tour – March 3,
Enjoy an afternoon of live music and specialty cocktails at Long Island Spirits. Learn fascinating methods, histories, and recipes at the Craft Cocktail seminar, meet the distiller, and tour the facility—from 1 pm to 3 pm at Long Island Spirits.
Jorma Kaukonen – March 9
American blues, folk, and rock guitarist Jorma Ludwik Kaukonen, Jr., is best known for his work with Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. Rolling Stone magazine ranked him #54 on its list of 100 Greatest Guitarists. See him live and find out why! 8 pm at The Suffolk Theater.
