Cutchogue’s North Fork Designer Show House is getting a seasonal makeover that you don’t want to miss: The Christmas Show House and Best of North Fork Emporium!
The North Fork Designer Show House was such a success during its opening in August that using it for a similar event for the Christmas season was almost a given.
What’s a designer show house, you ask?
Well, in the case of the North Fork Designer Show House, it’s a spacious home taken over by sixteen different interior designers, each of which are given a room to make over in any way they choose: from traditional to modern, calm to loud, minimalist to whimsical – but all of it beautiful, sophisticated, and fascinating to see – and for a good cause! Proceeds from the Christmas Show House will go towards four local charities, serving a spectrum of causes in our community.
The Christmas Show House and Best of North Fork Emporium takes the North Fork Designer Show House idea and expands upon it. The Christmas Show House event is half display, half holiday-merchandise market – much of what you will see at this unique event is yours to buy as a gift for your loved ones … or yourself!
Some of the rooms in the Christmas Show House are curated by designers much as they were at the August event, while others are being shared by multiple vendors selling things such as holiday decorations, apparel, jewelry, local greens, baked goods, hand crafted items, artwork, and other unique, local products.
The outside of the Christmas Show House and Best of North Fork Emporium was claimed by Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm, so you know it has been appropriately bedecked for the holidays – stop by and see!
